Tests and Crashing sites
It’s no news that sites isn’t exactly the forte of the University of Lagos. Three weeks following the online resumption, lecturers began to announce tests. Trust me when I say, it wasn’t funny.
I mean, we were coming from a 10-month academic strike, we have zero materials and the best thing to do is to rush us with tests? Not even considering our mental health?
The first test in wrote was PSY111 and this course is majorly biology, research by some dead people and vibes. I mean, the last time I did biology was 2018 and now? The worst part about this was that the lecturer didn’t give us a single material and we had one class that I wasn’t even able to attend because the class capacity was 300 and we are over 2000 students taking course.
Long story short I went to school for the test and it was like a small reunion and when it was time for the test, my noodle app began to misbehave. I was almost crying and I was literally switching from server to server, network to network, running around looking for a good signal.
After about 10 minutes, the test closed and no one was able to access it any longer, and when it was reported the lecturer told us that he wasn’t redoing it for us.
I cry all the way home and myself to sleep because I went about sourcing for materials, PDFs, YouTube videos only for this to happen?
(p.s; my classmates ran into the vc that day and reported the matter to him, the test was rescheduled and I was able to do it)
