#ENDSARS

I have had to cancel most of my plans for October because this is a trying time for my people and I have to stand with them in solidarity. Beyoncè sang and I quote, ‘we’re part of something way bigger’.

On this note, I’d like to announce that there won’t be any blog post except on #endsars, #Asuustrike and #endpolicebrutality till all these is behind us and our wants have been met.

We cannot ignore or choose to look away while our brothers are being slaughtered like goats, while our sisters are being raped mercilessly and tormented by people who are supposed to be protecting us and doing things with our best interests at heart.

We have to stand with our people and protest in any way we can, we have to stand against police brutality and show that we aren’t ‘lazy Nigerian youths’ that we are stereotyped to be.

Note, silence in the face of injustice automatically means that you support the oppressor and makes you a part of the problem.

God bless us.
