And when we’re born,
We start getting infused into different cultures,
We begin to get exposed to different learnings,
We began to see life from our own unique eyes ,
We begin to see life through the lens life gave to us.
I’ve always been commended on how I had a very good memory, and how I could remember things that happened a long time ago, and describe them, so well, that whoever I was telling will have a clear image as if they were present at the event.
Well, here’s one thing I cannot remember, I cannot remember where I came from, how I was born and basically anything up until I was 3 years old.
When I was about 4 years old, my mother took me to Sunday school, and my teacher told us that we were from God, the big man upstairs. She said that we were molded from the dust, and then we were given something special, called, ‘the breath of life’, and the was how we came into existence.
7 years down the line, I found myself in biology classes, and I began to learn about how the the sperm would swim to fertilise the eggs and how the fertilised eggs would travel from the fallopian tube to attach itself to the wall of the womb and then a zygote would be formed, and 8-9 months down the line, a child would be born. I went back to my Sunday school teacher and asked her why what she told me and what I was told at school didn’t match, but she didn’t have an answer.
Well, we are all oblivious about where we came from, so we all try to make assumptions, we all try to use our faith, science, and stories to justify our thinking.
